Meet the team of 6!
Property Manager, Mike Silky, has been working in the apartment industry for over 8 years and 7 in management – WOW! His experience speaks for itself as soon as you meet him. He is a professional, understanding, and most of all a FUN individual who is always willing to work with our current and future residents to suit your needs. Mike has a wonderful wife, Teri who is a school teacher in the area. Mike and Teri are the proud parents of Little Michael who was born in June and is getting bigger everyday. They have been married for 3 years and have 2 kitties named Stoli and Oberon. Mike is originally from Michigan and LoVeS to golf!
Maintenance Supervisor, Les Smith, has many years of experience as a “handy man”! He is our constant source of jokes and enjoys doing impersinations of Donald Duck to our "smaller" residents. Les served 4 years in the Air Force and 25 years as a City Police Officer. Les has a wonderful wife named Laura or as he calls her “Cobra”! He is also a father of 2 daughters and grandfather of 5. Assistant Manager, Lauren Walters, has been at Vista Sands for over three years. She is a proud graduate of Clemson University (GOOO TIGERS!!). She is a proud mother to her adventurous little boy, Colson. Everyday being a mama is more fun than the day before for her!! She is a southern lady to the core and has a fantastic sense of humor. She loves hunting and shopping, not in any particular order. Lauren takes care of all of our renewals, accounting, and much more.
Maintenance Technician, Dwaine Menzie, does a phenomenal job keeping our community looking amazing. He gets here early and works hard all day paying attention to every detail. Dwaine moved here from Wyoming and has traveled and lived all over the United States. He is an amazing athlete and spends his time off staying in shape.
Leasing Consultant, Roseanne Galati, "Roe" for short is the "memory" of the office! She is originally from New York and moved to South Carolina to spend more time with her sister and nephew, Alex. Roe is a graduate of SUNY Oswego where she majored in Human Communications. She is a big Giants fan and LOVES the Yankees, go figure! She loves spending time with her friends and family. Her dog Lulu is her baby! Roe has a wonderful personality and is loved by everyone in our community, if you meet her you will know why! She is very knowledgable & helpful & we are so excited to have her on our team. Groundskeeper, Sammie Simmons is the newest member of our team!! Sammie was born in Maryland but considers himself from Summerville. You can find Sammie every Tuesday at Walmart buying his new release DVD’s, he LOVES movies! In his spare time Sammie likes to fish and work on his "baby" a.k.a his truck. Sammie also enjoys fishing and watching his Chicago Bulls play basketball. Thank you for meeting the team!!
