Meet the team of 6!
Property Manager, Mike Silky, has been working in the apartment industry for over 7 years and 6 in management – WOW! His experience speaks for itself as soon as you meet him. He is a professional, understanding, and most of all FuN individual who is always willing to work with our current and future residents to suit your needs. Mike has a wonderful wife, Teri who is a school teacher in the area. They have been married for 2 years and have 2 kitties named Stoli and Oberon. Mike is originally from Michigan and LoVeS to golf!
Maintenance Supervisor, Albert “Del” D’Alessandro, has been an employee at Vista Sands for over a year and was promoted to Supervisor in August of ’07 – Go DEL! He always does an excellent job getting our apartments ready to move in and handling our service requests. Del is a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. Del is a very positive individual and we are happy to have him as part of our team!
Assistant Manager, Jenny Freeman has been in the apartment industry for over 5 years. She is a true southern girl from Georgia (Go Dawgs!) and you will know it’s her as soon as she answers the phone! She takes care of all of our renewals, newsletters, accounting, and much more.
Maintenance Technician, Les Smith, has many years of experience as a “handy man”! He is the newest member of the Vista Sands team and we are happy to have him aboard! Les served 4 years in the Air Force and 25 years as a City Police Officer. Les has a wonderful wife named Laura or as he calls her “Cobra”! He is also a father of 2 daughters and grandfather of 5.
Leasing Consultant, Lauren Walters, has been at Vista Sands for almost a year leasing apartments. She is a proud graduate of Clemson University (GOOO TIGERS!!). She is first and foremost “Mama” to her beautiful son, Colson. Lauren takes care of all of the new move ins, marketing, and more.
Groundskeeper, Dwaine Menzie, does a phenomenal job keeping our community looking amazing. He gets here early and works hard all day paying attention to every detail. Dwaine moved here from Wyoming and has traveled and lived all over the United States. He is an amazing athlete and spends his time off staying in shape.
